Effingham Plaza is a four story, two-building community with 176 units. Both one and two bedroom units are available. There is a community center, services coordinator and van transportation available for residents. Each unit is equipped with an emergency pull cord system, electric range, refrigerator and garbage disposal. There are optional services available to check in on residents on a daily basis. There are laundry rooms available on-site.

Effingham Plaza is accepting applications on-site at this time. Please click on the "Applying at Effingham Plaza" link above. The application can be filled out online and then printed and brought to the office. With the application you must bring the following items:

• Proof of ALL houshold income;
• Proof of assets (three most recent checking account statements and/or one recent savings account statement);
• Social Security card for all potential occupants; and
• Name and complete address of former/current landlord.

The office is located at 715 Madison Street.

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Applications are accepted on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
