Relocation

Relocation services are offered to all individuals, families, businesses or non-profit organizations displaced by the projects and activities of PRHA. This assistance conforms to the requirements of the

Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended.

We realize that it is very disruptive to move even in the most ideal circumstances. Recognizing this, we endeavor to make an involuntary move as pleasant as possible. Our objective is “to make whole.” Services may include help in finding another property, counseling regarding property choice, referrals to other organizations, arranging a move, finding financing, and filing claims for monetary assistance. Money may be paid for the cost of the physical move, to help defray increased costs of financing, rents, purchase prices, or the re-establishment of a business.
